Beach of Bredene
Camping Duinezwin is located in Bredene, just a few minutes walk from the beach and in the middle of one of the most beautiful regions of the Belgian coast. Via a safe pedestrian bridge over the tram tracks and the Koninklijke Baan, you can reach the dunes and the sea in five to ten minutes.
The red pedestrian bridge next to Staf Versluys takes you to the dunes. The blue pedestrian bridge near the Bredene Campings tram stop provides direct access to the beach.
Whether you choose a relaxing beach day in Bredene or another seaside resort, a bike ride along the coast or a trip to Oostende or Bruges, everything is within reach. Thanks to our central and quiet location, you can enjoy the sea, nature, and amenities without crowds.
Dogs on the beach in Bredene
The general rule is that dogs are allowed on the beach and in the dunes. From July 1st to August 31st, however, dogs are not welcome on the beach and in the dunes (except for the paved paths), each time from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. An exception is made for the beach zone beyond the concession zone Twins to the border with Oostende and a section at beach post 6.
Dog owners can only take their four-legged friend to the beach in this zone, provided of course that they are kept on a leash. Outside of these periods, you can always go anywhere in Bredene with your dog, provided they are kept on a leash. However, dogs are allowed to run freely (without a leash) on the beach and in the beach water from October 15th to March 15th, except for the surf zone of the Twins.
