Booking & Check-in and Check-out
Reserving a camper or camping spot can be done online via the search and book. This way, you can choose a type of spot according to your needs and even indicate your favorite spot on the camping map. Each camping spot is also displayed with a photo, so you can immediately choose the perfect spot that suits you. Please note that there is a small additional charge for this. Please note that if you do not indicate a preferred location, Team Camping Duinezwin reserves the right to change the spot automatically assigned to you.
If you are unable to make a reservation online, you can contact us by phone or email here. We will guide you through the booking process or make the reservation for you.
Standard check-in time is at 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. Since we work with a semi-automatic system of codes, it is not mandatory to go to the reception for check-in or check-out, but everyone is always welcome to come by for a personal welcome.
If you arrive before 3pm and the place is already completely free, you are allowed to drive to the place earlier. To check if the place is free, we ask you to come to the reception or to park your vehicle at the front of the campsite and go check on foot. Between 12pm and 3pm, it is possible that the gardener is finishing up the plot, so please give this man the necessary space if you arrive before 3pm.
In the low season, an early check-in or late check-out is only possible upon request. If the schedule allows it, you can stay on the place until 3pm for free. Please contact us.
You arrive at the reception with your reservation number, pitch number or contact details. If there are any changes to the number of people, pets or cars, you can report this here. If you have not paid in advance, you can pay on the spot in cash or with a card. You will then receive a code for the barrier and instructions on how to drive to the place reserved for you. You will be given a garbage bag for household waste and one for PMD. At the reception, you can also buy shower tokens for one euro each.
From now on, you can enjoy a pleasant stay at Camping Duinezwin. If you have any questions, you can always contact the reception.
The day before your arrival, we will send you an email with an access code and all the information you need to check in autonomously. Would you like shower tokens upon arrival outside opening hours? Let us know, and we will arrange that for you.
If there are any changes to the number of people, pets, or cars, you can report this to the reception the next day. You can also get trash bags and additional shower tokens there. Even if you have no questions, you are always welcome to let us know that you have arrived, we are happy to see you again!
You will pass by the reception with your reservation number, pitch number or contact details. If you had any comments about your stay, you can report them immediately. If there is still an outstanding amount registered, we will ask you to settle this. Make sure to return the power adapter, Citymesh Loco, Grasduinen badge or other items so that the deposit can be refunded.
Thank you for staying at Camping Duinezwin and see you next time!
Sure, you can do that in the low season if the pitch or accommodation is still available. Feel free to drop by the reception to see if it's possible! 🏰
First, check your spam folder. If you still have not received a confirmation of my reservation request, please feel free to contact us.
It is normal for it to take some time before you receive a reservation confirmation after your reservation request. Your reservation request reaches us immediately, but we can only confirm a reservation during the reception opening hours. Therefore, it may take some time before you receive a confirmation.
No, we do not offer cancellation insurance. However, you can cancel free of charge up to 3 days before arrival and receive a full refund. Check our General reservation conditions for more information.
The location & entering and exiting
Camping pitches are intended for camping guests who stay overnight in a caravan, motorhome or tent. These plots are usually fully paved.
Camper pitches are exclusively intended for motorhomes as they are partially paved, and therefore not for tents or caravans. During the winter period, caravans can also use these pitches.
The surface area of the plot is indicated when selecting a pitch on the map during booking.
The maximum length of the vehicle for which the pitch is intended is stated in the title of the accommodation, for example "Camper pitch <7.5m". This pitch is exclusively for campers smaller than 7.5 meters.
It is important to adhere to these maximum dimensions. Both the accessibility of the pitch, as well as the dimensions and facilities, are tailored to the type of accommodation.
It is possible to stay overnight at the campsite with other types of camping equipment than motorhomes, caravans, and tents. Folding wagons and vehicles with a roof tent are also welcome on the pitches. Contact us if you are unsure whether you can find a spot at the campsite.
Each campsite has its own water connection, electricity connection (16A 3-pin CEE plug), and drainage unless stated otherwise in the advertisement. Water and electricity consumption are included in the total amount of your stay.
At the reception of the campsite, there are adapters (CEE to 230V/16A) available with a deposit of 15 euros in cash. Return the adapter during check-out and get the deposit back.
Take a look in the electricity box (big white box near your place). There you will find multiple fuses. Often, a fuse has simply blown, and you can easily solve the problem by switching the fuse back on. If you still have problems, contact us.
Team Camping Duinezwin ensures that all residents can enjoy all the comforts on their camping or camper pitch. Consequently, there is a limit of 5 people and a maximum of 3 dogs per pitch. Young people are welcome at the campsite, but this must always be communicated to the reception in advance.
Dogs are welcome at the campsite, as long as they do not cause any nuisance and all waste is properly cleaned up. Dogs must always be on a leash. There is a surcharge, which you must indicate upon arrival or during online booking.
Guests can stay overnight with you for an additional fee. This must be indicated in advance at the reception.
It is possible to reserve multiple adjacent plots if you come with more than five people. When choosing a preferred location, you can be sure that the plot number will not change. Large groups cannot be accommodated at Camping Duinezwin.
Yes, you can, but there are specific regulations and dogs are only allowed on the beach within certain hours. More information about the time slots can be found here: Bredene - Dogs on the beach.
Camp sites
Placing a tent, awning or canopy on your reserved plot is allowed. Keep in mind that these structures should not limit the comfort and normal use of neighboring plots.
As a camper, you are responsible for correctly setting up and removing these structures, also taking into account weather conditions.
Camper sites
In high season, placing a tent is not allowed on these plots. Placing an awning or canopy on your reserved plot is allowed as long as it does not damage the grass. Keep in mind that these structures should not limit the comfort and normal use of neighboring plots.
As a camper, you are responsible for correctly setting up and removing these structures, also taking into account weather conditions.
Yes, barbecuing is allowed, as long as it is done safely. Avoid barbecuing under trees or close to bushes. Make sure there is always a bucket of water ready and that there is no disturbance for other guests.
Our family campsite stands for comfort and tranquility. Complete silence is expected on the campsite from 10pm. In case of disturbance, you can contact us. In case of urgent disturbance, you can always call 00 32 59 13 68, choose 1/2/3/4 for the desired language and press "2" to be connected to the emergency line. In case of emergencies, call 112.
Only one vehicle is allowed per site: either one car or one camper. The camper or car must always be parked on the own plot. If there is not enough space, feel free to contact us and we will find a solution together.
Extra vehicles can be parked at the front of the campsite in the designated parking areas (payable in high season), not at the charging stations. Please note: these parking areas are limited and may be full, and cannot be reserved. Just outside the campsite, there are also 2 large parking areas, with Parking Staf Versluys 2 being the cheapest.
It is not allowed to charge electric vehicles on the own plot. There are some public Smappee charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) at the front of the campsite. Please keep these spaces clear for EVs at all times.
The barrier of Camping Duinezwin can be opened 24/7 with the entrance and exit code that you receive with your reservation and/or at the reception.
Please note, this code only works to re-enter after you have exited. This means that one vehicle is linked to each code and codes therefore cannot be shared or used to let multiple vehicles enter the campsite. Also, do not let other guests use your code to exit to prevent you from being unable to enter the campsite. Fraudulent use of entrance and exit codes can be sanctioned.
Residual waste is collected in transparent plastic bags. Plastic, metal, and drink cartons (PMD) are collected in transparent blue plastic bags. Waste bags are available for free at the reception of the campsite.
The waste is collected in the waste sorting point at the front of the campsite, in the corner opposite the reception. Under the wooden shelter, you can sort residual waste, PMD, paper and cardboard, and glass. Always deposit the correct waste in the correct container.
Yes, you can. Renting a mobile home is done directly with the owner, the campsite is not involved. Upon arrival, you still need to come to the reception to register. There you will receive an entry and exit code for the barrier and a map of the campsite showing how to reach the mobile home.
Please note: there is a tourist tax of €13 per family per night, to be paid at the reception.
You can find the list of available caravans under the holiday accommodations.
Sanitary & laundry
There are three sanitary buildings on Camping Duinezwin, spread across the campsite, as shown on the map. Each sanitary block contains toilets and sinks. The two outer sanitary blocks have showers, and the sanitary block at the back of the campsite also has a family shower. The sanitary facilities are open 24/7 and freely accessible. Hot showers are paid for and work with shower tokens.
In winter, only the 1st (and at busy times the 2nd) sanitary building is open.
The showers work with shower tokens that can be purchased individually at the reception during opening hours. A shower token costs 1 euro for a 6-minute shower with hot water. Cold showers are always free.
Attention: from the moment you insert the token, the 6 minutes will run uninterrupted. It is not possible to use multiple tokens at once, except for the family shower, where 1 token is good for 3 minutes of hot water. Only at the family shower can you cumulatively insert the tokens to shower longer.
The washing machines are located in the two furthest sanitary blocks on the campsite, as shown on the map. The washing machines work with euro coins. Please note that only coins of 0.50 euros, 1 euro, and 2 euros are accepted. The instructions to choose a program and start the machines are located next to the washing machines.
Septic waste can be discharged in the designated chemical toilet located in each sanitary block. The grey water tank can be emptied at the service parking located at the end of the U-row.
Internet
Internet access is possible at all locations on the campsite through the Citymesh network that was rolled out at the campsite. You can buy a recharge code that will give you internet access for a certain period of time.
At some pitches at Camping Duinezwin, your device can receive the 'Citymesh Hotspot' network. You can connect to it immediately, but you will end up on the Citymesh portal page. Here you can enter the recharge code that you bought at the campsite reception or you can buy the ticket online. In a few rare cases, users do not automatically see the Citymesh portal page. In that case, you can simply visit www.gowifi.be and you will be redirected immediately. It is possible to surf the internet with a maximum of two users at the same time. If you want to give internet access to more users, you will need a Citymesh Loco, see below.
It is possible that 'Citymesh Hotspot' has insufficient reception or even no reception at your pitch. In order to use the internet, you can obtain an internet amplifier Citymesh Loco at the reception by paying a deposit of 50 euros in cash. When checking out, you return the Citymesh Loco and get the deposit back. The Citymesh Loco creates a private internet network so that you can have internet access with up to four users with one ticket.
If you have any questions about Citymesh, you can call +32 50 96 96 88 or email helpdesk@citymesh.com.
At the reception of Camping Duinezwin and at the petanque field, there is free internet access for all guests of the campsite. The password can be obtained at the reception of the campsite or can be found in the reservation confirmation email.
